The following is a summary of the key enhancements which will be delivered in the fourth release (October) of 2026:
Verto Intelligence Partners (VIPs)
VIP conversations can now be popped out into a separate window, making it easier to minimise the conversation, find the information you need, and then jump straight back in where you left off.
If you haven't explored our VIP functionality yet, now is the perfect time to take a look. Check out Verto Intelligent Partners for more information.
Dependency Mapping
If you're familiar with Verto's Network Map, you'll know how VertoSense helps visualise dependencies across your work. As part of this release, the Network Map is being renamed Dependencies, and we've introduced a new optional approval step. Dependency recipients can now accept or decline requests, bringing the process in line with our existing Move functionality.
Prefer working in a table rather than a map? No problem. We're also introducing the ability to switch between map and table views, giving you greater flexibility in how you manage dependencies. For more information see Dependencies Map.
Personas
We've also been hard at work on the next evolution of Verto permissions: Personas.
Personas will provide an additional layer of permission management alongside existing Project Roles and User Profiles. They are designed to complement, not replace, the permissions model you use today. In this release, we're introducing the foundations of Personas within the Verto Administration area. While the full functionality isn't quite ready to launch yet, we'll soon be sharing more information through the Knowledge Hub, along with a dedicated Spotlight session to showcase what's available.
