What is a print template?

A report enables the user to extract specific data from Verto in a custom format.  There are two types of custom reports which can be generated from Verto - print templates and aggregated reports. This article takes a look at the print template.

Whilst viewing an individual project or governance report, a print template can be generated via the Actions Menu > Print.

Print templates are often designed to replicate pre-existing documents such as business cases, PIDs or highlight reports. Multiple print templates can be attached to a project or governance report, enabling different versions to be printed by the user i.e. light business case or full business case.

This type of report does not have any changeable filters. However, filters can be hardcoded into the template during the mock-up and design process i.e. only include ‘key’ records when printing a light business case.  This report type can be generated in PDF or Word only.
