Advice
- Changes to notification filters and recipients can be completed in Test or Live. However, we recommend making any changes in Test to ensure you are happy first. A site copy can then be schedule to launch the changes in Live. See How to schedule a site copy for more information.
You will be presented with a list of the current one-to-many controls (project tables) included in the notification offering i.e. actions, risks, issues etc.

To make changes to a notification's recipients or the rules that trigger the notification, click on the ‘Edit’ button.
Filters
A notification is generated based on a set of rules i.e. “send a notification to the owner of an issue, if it's due date is next week and the issue is not marked as closed”. These rules can be customised as needed.
To amend the notification rules, click into the ‘Filter’ box:

A new pop-up will appear containing the current filters or ‘rules’:

From here, apply your filters as needed.

When you're happy with the notification filters, click ‘OK’.
The pop-up will now update to display the new filters:

Recipients
All available user fields will be listed for the control i.e. all user fields available within the Issue control. Note: this list is generic and may contain user fields not in your build. If you are unsure about which user fields you have in your build, you can crosscheck this list with your field export file. See How to export the site configuration into a spreadsheet for more information.
Tick all of the recipients who should receive notifications for the selected control i.e. all users who should receive a notification on issues.

When happy, click ‘Close’. The notification has now been updated.
