Q1 2026 Release Notes

The following is a summary of the key enhancements which will be delivered in the first release (January) of 2026:

Project Tables

  • Table Resizing -  You can now adjust table height as easily as resizing columns. Simply drag the bottom edge of the table to set your preferred height and it will remain at that size until changed.

Dashboards

  • Full Screen Data Table Option - The much-loved ‘expand’ button is now available on all dashboard data table widgets, so you can view your information full screen.
  • Widget Library (Costs, Savings and Trend Widgets) - The dashboard widget library has been expanded to now include a selection of preconfigured widgets for costs, savings and trends. See What are dashboard widgets? for further information. Note: further articles on these new widgets will be available from Monday 19th January. 

Boards

  • Card Checklist Sorting – You can now reorder the checklist items on your board cards. See How to add card checklists for further information. 

Gantt

  • Excel Export Enhancement -  The Gantt Excel export will now reflect any date range set through the Cog settings. See How to export the Gantt for further information on this feature. 
  • Filtering - You can now filter the Gantt using data from multi-select fields. The available filter options will be based on your task and milestone project table configuration. See How to apply filters on the Gantt for further information on this feature. 
  • ‘Save As’ and Dependency Lines - When using the ‘Save As’ feature to copy a project or programme, all Gantt dependency lines are now included in the duplicate. See How to create a duplicate project (Save As) for more information on this feature. 
  • Gantt Column Ordering - You can now reorder the Gantt columns on the left-hand side to create an order that best suits your needs. See How to adjust the Gantt settings (Cog) for further information on this option. 

Feeds

  •  Multi-Select User Pickers - In addition to owner fields, you can now use all multi-select ‘user picker’ fields in the Feeds configuration.  See How to amend which controls are displayed in Feeds for details on how to update your Feeds configuration.

General

  • Archived projects are now easier to recognise -  
    • When viewing an archived project, the top banner will now be highlighted in pink and the form set to ‘Read Only’. 
    • Archived projects are now easier to identify in the hierarchy list, as they are highlighted in pink.

  • Display Governance Report Author on Summary Table -  It is now possible to display the report author’s name in the relevant summary table . To achieve this, simply follow the standard 4-step build process to locate the ‘Author’ field within the governance report configuration and then simply tick the ‘Show in Summary’ checkbox. The summary view for the governance report will then display like this:
  • User Involvements  – archived projects/programmes are now automatically hidden from a user's involvement list under the Administration > Manage Users area. If needed, the filter can be removed to include any archived records. See How to set up and manage user accounts for further information on this.
